 Jesus’ crucifixion has never been the end of the story. In fact, in many ways, it is the beginning. When Jesus appeared in the room with the disciples, he calmed their fears, wished them peace, and then began showing them how he was the fulfillment of God’s promises in the Old Testament. Look at Luke 24:44. Jesus clearly identified himself as the one who would fulfill God’s Old Testament promises. The Apostle Paul would later sum up this good news by saying “that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried; and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures” (I Cor 14:4). If Christ did not rise from the dead, the faith of Christians is in vain. There was is no gospel, unless he who died for mankind’s sins, rose again. All the doubt that crashed in on the disciples as Jesus died was erased in a moment when the angel said to the women at the tomb, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen” (Luke 24:5-6).

8 – يَسُوعَ يقومُ مِنْ بين الاموات

صَلْبُ يسوع لم يَكُن الَبتّةَ نهاية القصة . الحقيقةُ هي انّهُ البداية . عندما ظَهَرَ يسوعُ للتلاميذ في داخل الغرفة، هَدّأ رَوْعَهُم، وَتَمنّى لهم الأمان ، وابتدأ يُبَيّنُ لهم أنه كان تَتِمّة لمواعيد الله التي في العهد القديم اقرأ لوقا 24: 44 حيث يُعَرّف يسوعُ نفسهُ وبوضوح انه الشّخْصُ الذي سوف يُتَمّم مواعيد العهد القديم . بولس الرسول لَخّصَ، فيما بَعْدُ، هذه الاخبار السارّة بقولِهِ “… انّ المسيح ماتَ مِنْ أجْلِ خطايانا حَسَبَ الكُتُبِ، وأنه دُفِنَ ، وانه قام في اليوم الثالثِ حَسَبَ الكُتُب” 1 كو 15 3-4 انْ لم يكنْ المسيحُ قد قام من بين الاموات فإيمانُ المسيحيين باطِلٌ . ولا يمكنُ ان يكون هناك انجيلٌ ان لَمْ يكُنْ قد قام مَنْ مات مِنْ أجْل خطايا الجنس البشري. كلُّ الشّكوكِ التي شَغَلَتْ بالَ التلاميذ عندما مات يسوع زالت، في لحظةِ ، عندما قال الملاك للنّساء قُرب القبرْ ” لماذا تَطْلُبْنَ الحيّ بين الأموات؟ ليسَ هو ههنا ، لكنّه قامَ !” (لوقا 24: 5-6).
