“Retaliate with Love” is a dramatic film incorporating contextual animation. It tells the story of a young man who returns to “Shan State” in Burma to search for his long-lost brother at the request of his ailing mother. The journey takes him instead to news of his brother’s death, but Sai Yee Mon learns of the noble act that accompanied it—he saved the village by being the decoy for an enemy attack, a sacrifice motivated by the love of Christ for the people. Sai Yee Mon gets reconnected with the people of the village as well as the God who was responsible for their physical and spiritual salvation.
